    Q. Why would you make the programs so cheap or even free?

    A. As a company we believe software should be free. The realistic facts are that we aren't making any money on ads or donations so selling the programs for a couple bucks is just another way to try to help pay for things. However, as we get more popular and the ads and donations bring in some money we will evaluate the prices and decide if we would want to continue charging and if so at what reduced price. It's really up to our users and how much they support us. In the meantime we gladly will give out free smaller programs that we know people would like but wouldn't pay for, and we will offer more in depth, more usable programs for a small and reasonable fee.

    Q. Why aren't there updates faster?

    A. Although there is a team working to bring you this content, we are only a small group. We have even less people dedicated to development and distribution, some are testers, others are concepts, etc. Also, all team members have full time jobs and only can do this work in their spare time. Lastly, volunteers deal directly with me, and not each other, and therefore communication is somewhat limited.

    Q. My program is acting weird, what's usually the first step in fixing it?

    A. We have created a forum specifically for these types of questions. Try posting it there, we check often for new posts.

    Q. Can I use these programs on my thumb/flash drive?

    A. With all the programs you can, EXCEPT Check n Do Pro. That ability will be coming in the future. Until then you will need to install it on each pc you would like to use it on.

    Q. What's rss, what about feeds, or that orange icon?

    A. Go ahead and look it up on wikipedia. Basically, it's a way for us to keep you updated with the progress of everything going on. The benefit though is that you don't actually need to visit our site everyday to check for updates. While, we still think it's important to come back occasionally we understand that its easier and more convenient for you to get your news delivered to you. We added this because we use it on every site we love, that is if they have it of course, and we love the convenience. If you're using Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 2 a rss reader has been included in your browser so you don't need to worry about anything. Just click one of the links and enjoy. If you don't have either we recommend using firefox, it's free, safe, and includes plenty of features that anyone can use. To get Firefox just click the link on our links page.

Rss is the standard(s) describing the syndication of news. Feeds are the actual news that you subscribe to receive. The icon is one of the standard icons (there are several).

    Q. What's the next program to be released/updated?

    A. There isn't ever an answer to this question. We are constantly brain storming, creating new programs, and revising old ones. We may think that we are going to concentrate on a specific release and mid way through be pulled in another direction for one reason or another. We try to not have to many things on our plate but its impossible when we get an idea to not get excited and start it to see what we can come up with. We would love to do this full time, so if you'd like faster releases, more programs, other services, larger programs, and more and better features we would need support from our users.

    Q. Can I distribute you program on my site/Can I link to your site?

    A. While we would love any free advertising you do for us, we ask that if you want to distribute our software that you contact us via our forums. To give you an idea of what we'd be talking about, we would need to know your url (for approval), and we hope that you would help host the files and not just link to ours on our server. We can provide the counting and putting you as a download mirror via our Download Tracker software. Don't hesitate to ask!

If you would just like to link to us you can always do that. Currently we only have one image for you to use but if you don't like that you can either do a text link or anything you can come up with. If you would like a link in return you will need to contact us and we will review it on a case by case basis.

    Q. I have a program idea, could you make the program for me?

    A. Sure. That is, if we like the idea, we have the time, think its possible, and we think others would like the idea. Because it's your idea you would get a name mention, free versions for life, and immediate releases (even non public releases). Since its your idea we would hope that you'd like to help us with testing the product, although this would not be a requirement.

Know that if we did make the program we would own it, unless special arrangements are made. If you don't like these arrangements we're sorry but we can't help you out. We think this is fair for the simple fact that most companies don't listen to their users and they certainly aren't taking requests.

    Q. Do you plan on supporting other operating systems?

    A. Someday, although there are currently plenty of things that need done on the programs we have already released.

    Q. Sometimes I refresh a page and it doesn't update to newer information, why?

    A. We, in some places, use caching to help save on bandwidth and server load. The cache will expire after a set amount of time so normally you shouldn't worry about it, If you are impatient you can sometimes force refresh (ctrl+F5 in Internet Explorer) or clear your temporary internet files.

    Q. I have a question that wasn't answered here, where can I get my answer?

    A. You can visit our forum for answers or to ask a question. If it could be a common question we would prefer that you use this method.
